Since 1264, Fabriano has been making paper for all uses. The mill invented both the surface sizing and watermark. They are always looking for better and more environmentally friendly ways to make paper, from the raw materials to hydropower.
Fabriano is, of course, renowned for its sumptuous watercolor papers. It is not yet as well known for its beautiful sketching and drawing papers, at least in the United States where domestic competition is fierce. However, the range of sketching and drawing papers from Fabriano is spectacular, and is available in pads and albums.

They’re an excellent sketchbook with quality paper.I especially like the pasteboard cover which I find to be a very effective surface to draw on.

Accidentally ran into this shop on one of my NYC trips. I didn't know it existed, but while looking through the store, I discovered a brand of paint I'd never heard of, so I bought a jar. It has quickly become my favorite, so as a treat, my husband bought 8 more colors for me, which Soho shipped to me very quickly. Wish I could buy all of the colors! But I'll return to Soho one of these days and will buy the light blue I'm dreaming of....
I love this brand. They are my absolute favorite paints. The colors are rich, I love that the paint is on the thinner side. It blends beautifully. All the colors are wonderful, I wish I could afford them all.
Soho, and my contact Walter, couldn’t be friendlier, more accommodating, nor go to any greater lengths to find the often rare or plain weird materials I ask for.
Smooth as a baby’s bottom, and the pigmentation of the long stroke didn’t dwindle despite the light load.
I went out of my way to get this sketchbook. I got one from you before and then I couldn't find them once I filled the pages. Its the greatest sketchbook.
