Rublev Colours Mica Lead White is a semi-opaque white ground in walnut oil that provides a stiff white, excellent for mixing with colors or for crisp highlights.
Rublev Colours created this color for artists today without the additives such as stearates of modern whites. Wet ground mica provides crisp body to the lead white and has a lower refractive index than lead white, making it less opaque and hence well suited for mixing with other colors. Use it to make pale tints of colors without overpowering them and where crisp highlights that do not slump and level out are needed.

Easy shopping experience. Delivery was prompt.
This white does exactly what I wanted. It raises the value of my colors but doesn't cause them to look chalkie like the Titanium does. I'll save the Titanium and use it for strong highlights.
